In 2011, Europe´s best stories will be told in Tallinn
... and on the web on e-Stories.org!
International literature contest of e-Stories.org and Tallinn / Estonia - European Capital of Culture 2011
Big closing ceremony on 22. Decembre 2011 - The young actors of Von Krahl Theatre will read the best stories submitted to the international online storytelling competition of e-Stories.org. Stories of dream beaches, vacations, exciting encounters and seaside living, as well as the unforgiving power of the sea, pirates, farewells, break-ups and death will be read in their original languages on 22 December in the Tallinn Art Hall gallery from 18:00-20:00.
The main theme of Tallinn 2011 – European Capital of Culture is "Stories of the Seashore".
Be part of our short-story contest and join the large number of European writers, musicians and actors, who will tell, sing and act tales inspired by the sea in Estonia´s capital, in the largest storytelling event of its history.
Choose from 6 languages, click here and submit your short story to e-Stories.org, the partner of www.tallinn2011.ee for this online project.
It’s free, it’s fun and you may even win some attractive prizes. An international jury will convene in May 2011, evaluate all contributions, determine the award winners and select the texts that will be read on Tallinn’s shores next summer ...
You do not want to wait that long?
The first seashore stories will be made available for our readers soon on this website.
